Walking on Sunshine is our largest community fundraiser. Here’s why the Cariola Community is coming together to raise $175,000 during our 75th Anniversary. 

 

"I volunteer for the Walk because it is a lot of fun to see our families and their students enjoying activities. The Walk is a Mary Cariola tradition where there is something fun for everyone from crafts to hair braiding. It is great to catch up with students from other campuses and alumni. It is always a great time."

"My daughter Charlotte (Charlie) and I were asked why we walk in Mary Cariola's Walking on Sunshine annual walk? And I guess the best answer comes from when and where this question was posed. We were asked "Why do you walk?" sitting amongst school staff and teachers-turned-family at the Mary Cariola night at the Red Wings game. The amazing love and support my daughter (and her family) receive from Mary Cariola does not stay within the walls of the classroom. We have been shown so much love and support from the whole Mary Cariola agency over Charlie's five years as a student there. I have nothing but appreciation and amazement for all the members of the Mary Cariola family, so if I can help support by walking and raising some money to help... The answer is an easy YES."
